5 Unique Recipes For Making REAL, Delicious, Healthy Mayonnaise

Mayonnaise is a “must’ in all kinds of sandwiches, even avocado sandwich. It is highly versatile and it goes well with many dishes, including BLTs and turkey.  However, the truth is that as much as delicious mayonnaise is, the store-bough one comes with many cons.

What’s Really Inside Store-Bought Mayonnaise

For instance, Hellman`s Real Mayonnaise contains whole eggs, egg yolks, vinegar, sugar, and soybean oil.  As you can see, the allegedly real mayonnaise is actually loaded with GMOs which are nothing but unhealthy and bad for you.

What’s Wrong With GMOs?

Back in the 1996 when GMOs were first introduced in the U.S, chronic illness in Americans increased from 7 percent to 13 percent.  They lead to immune system disorders, gastrointestinal disorders, and organ damage. What`s more, they are found to speed up aging and promote infertility.

Calories, Fats, Sodium And Cholesterol

As little as one tablespoon of store-bought mayonnaise contains nearly 90 calories.  Therefore, those who eat mayonnaise on a regular basis basically overshoot the recommended caloric intake without even being aware of it.

A tablespoon of mayonnaise contains 90 milligrams of sodium, 5 mg of cholesterol, and up to 10 grams of fat. Excess fat is associated with the onset of diabetes and heart-related problems.  Too much sodium may lead to hypertension, while excess cholesterol may accumulate in the arteries and lead to stroke and heart disease.

5 Healthy Homemade Mayonnaise Recipes
